Hello everybody!

Conference was amazing! It was exciting to go out on Saturday and talk
to people saying “What if you could know that God has Prophets and
Apostles on the Earth once again, would you want to know what God had
to say to you?” Most people would say something like “I guess” and
then we would invite them to come to the church and watch it with us.
We ended up not having any investigators there, but it was still

Conference works a bit different here. Because of the time difference,
we watch the Saturday morning session live at 5 pm, then we watch
Priesthood on Sunday morning at 10 am, Saturday afternoon session at 1
pm, Sunday morning at 5 pm, then Sunday afternoon we get to watch
today (not at the church). We watched it at the chapel, but a lot of
people just watched it on the internet. I honestly wish that more
people would have come to the chapel, though. Priesthood session was
fairly full and it was wonderful.

One of the talks that stuck to me was given by President Eyring, where
he talked about how we need the Priesthood in our lives. Without it,
we cannot do anything on Earth which can continue in heaven. It was
uplifting to hear the stories and the explanation of the use of the
keys of the Priesthood.

This week, Elder Stubbs and I went down to Overton, which is a small
village on the very south of Morecambe Bay. I forgot to bring water,
so we went into a small shop to buy some and we asked the person
working there where they would eat lunch if they only had one hour.
She pointed us in the direction of a small footpath that led to a
public field that is primarily used for sheep grazing. We ate there
and it was absolutely beautiful!

We have been finding like crazy, but we aren’t teaching anybody that
regularly. We do, however, have 2 solid people that we are sure will
progress, so we have faith in that! Thank you for your letters and
prayers! Keep them coming!
